The Amana RV Park & Event Center is located on 80 acres in the beautiful Iowa River Valley (eastern Iowa) with over 450 campsites. The Park has several activities and opportunities for family fun for all ages! While you’re camping, stop by one of our climate-controlled event buildings to see what’s on tap for the weekend. From polka fests to antique shows, we have got something for everyone and most are open to the public! We have fantastic staff on-hand throughout the season to assist your every need and are just a short walk from the village of Amana. Two moderately-sized towns, Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, are located 20 minutes from the park. Some of the amenities of the park include a dump station, Propane refill access, laundry facilities, picnic tables on most sites, kindling from the Amana Furniture Shop, Free Wi-Fi available in Community Building, pets are welcome and we are just steps away from the Amana Family clinic and pharmacy and within 20 miles of four hospitals! The Amana RV Park & Event Center manages a variety of event spaces in the Amana Colonies. Throughout the season we host everything from RV rallies to beautiful wedding receptions to antique shows and so much more. Saunderosa Park campground offers large, spacious sites situated throughout 320 acres of breathtaking countryside. The campground is nestled in the Little Cove valley. This beautiful park serves all recreational vehicles and tents. Some sites offer a primitive style of camping, while others offer full water, electric and sewer hookups. The campground is surrounded by a large tract of state game lands, which includes the famous Tuscarora Trail. Saunderosa Park also is near Cove Mountain Miniature Golf Course. Cove Mountain is a beautifully landscaped 18 hole miniature golf course designed to challenge your putting skills, yet fun and engaging for children. The course is filled with interesting holes with undulating greens, waterfalls, streams and even a cave to putt through. A large pond is full of beautiful Koi and goldfish that also has a fountain. The area is surrounded by picnic tables to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery, people watch, or enjoy some Hershey’s hand-dipped ice cream, sundaes or milkshakes with your family and friends.  The park also offers the Kangaroo jumper opened in July of 2016! A new and unique addition to Saunderosa Park! Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before being allowed on the jumper. Along with the Kangaroo jumper Saunderosa has a large outdoor swimming pool for all to enjoy! Our family-owned campground prides itself on its fully stocked Craft Store. We offer an entire General Store with all the toiletries and amenities one might require or need. We also offer goodies such as decorative pieces like paintings, lights, candles and signs.
