Set against the Chugach Mountains, the Upper Kenai River in Cooper Landing is a truly remarkable area filled with epic scenery and great opportunities for the Trout angler. The Upper Kenai also has a healthy population of Dolly Varden, a close relative to Arctic Char. Dolly Varden or "Dollies" have a lot of overlap in their habitat and eating habits with Rainbow Trout.
