The historic Dominion House is located at the heart of the Hudson Valley in Blooming Grove, Orange County, easy to get to from Interstates 84, 86/17, and 87. 

The Dominion House is the “Best of the Best Reader’s Choice Bed and Breakfast in the Hudson Valley.”  Recently renovated by 3rd generation innkeepers, Susie and Eric, the inn is an ideal place for a vacation, romantic weekend, or fun time with friends. The inn was built in 1880 by a famous local Benjamin Strong and consists of spacious rooms, stunning marble mantles with original wood work and antique furnishings. 

The Victorian era building has modern amenities, including wi-fi nests with high-speed internet, air-conditioned rooms, each with cable TV or streaming.  Accommodations include a swimming pool, a spa, a slate top pool table and a library of books a century old.

Explore the area! There are many wineries and breweries in Orange County that often have live music.  We are only 25-30 minutes from West Point and the National Purple Heart Museum, which is only 15-20 minutes away. Woodbury Commons Outlet Mall is also about 20 minutes away. So there is plenty to do and see while staying with us!

Our rooms rates are very competitive at only $215/night Mon-Thu and $250/night Fri-Sun (3% CC fee).  All rooms have a private bath and are smoke/pet free.  We serve a full country breakfast second to none, and are experienced in catering to your dietary needs with advanced notice.  Tea and coffee are always available 24 hours a day.
