Our Story

Our organization began with a shared dream of 5 WWII veterans. This group of men dreamed of the day there would be a museum in the East-Central part of Wisconsin dedicated to telling the stories of our Honored Veterans.

Get in the know Of everything going on with MVMEC!

  • The IANI (I Am Not Invisible) dispaly will remain with us here at MVMEC until the end of June. If you did not come in to see it during our Open House, come in any weekend now through the end of June to see it. The display honors the service of 17 Wisconsin Women Veterans.
  • Spring has sprung and we have changed our hours to our summer schedule. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10AM to 5PM. See picture at loeft for an example of the items on display.
  • Our annual Cornhole Tournament was a great success this year. See the Newsletter at the left for details. Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 15, 2025 and plan on coming out to participate next year. We clear out several of our vehicles in the center of the museum to make this event possible.
  • Our annual golf tournament is scheduled for May 29, 2024. A great way to have a fun day of golf and also help support the mission of our museum. See the poster at the left for more details.
  • Many of our visitors ask what happened to the T34-85 Tank we used to have on display. We have an article on the tank on page 5 of our Winter 2022 Newsletter. Click here to see the Newsletter.
  • And, as always, Private Tours are available year round. Call Stu Tribbey (920) 379-1180 or [email protected] to schedule a visit.
