The Foundation for Academic Cultural Exchange (F.A.C.E.)

The Foundation for Academic Cultural Exchange (F.A.C.E.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cross-cultural understanding through high school exchange programs. We are a U.S. Department of State designated high school exchange organization in operation for more than 30 years. F.A.C.E. offers remarkable opportunities for students from different nations to study at an accredited public or private high school and live with an American host family or at an accredited boarding school.

F.A.C.E. is currently searching for Local Coordinators. If you are interested, please email us.

Become a F.A.C.E. Local Coordinator

F.A.C.E. Local Coordinators are carefully chosen to represent our organization. Their duties include finding and interviewing potential host families, placing students in loving and caring homes, identifying local high schools and getting students enrolled etc. Local coordinators act in a supervisory role to ensure that the homestay is a rewarding, memorable, and enjoyable exchange experience for the student.

Why Should I Host With F.A.C.E.?

F.A.C.E. has over 25 years of experience in placing students with compatible American host families. We believe in the importance of building strong relationships with our host families and students, and we provide several layers of support to make certain that all the participants’ experience is positive and memorable.
